The DEP Bureau of Water Supply and
Wastewater Management has published a new four-page Fact Sheet titled Understanding
Your Drinking Water Well. This
new Fact Sheet explains water well basics, how a well goes dry, how much water a
well can provide, what you can do to prevent your well from running dry, and
what you can do if your well runs out of water.
This fact sheet also explains how
to find a good well driller, what you can do to make your well safer, and how to
learn more about ground water resources. Water conservation tips are
provided.
