Who We Are:

    We are companies or persons engaged in drilling or constructing water wells in Pennsylvania, manufacturing or supplying equipment to accomplish that task, studying, teaching or perfecting related technology, or evaluating or developing water resources in Pennsylvania.  Click here to go to a membership application that you can print and mail to us.

We have six Divisions of Membership:

 Contractors Division:  individuals or corporations engaged in the business of water well drilling, including pump installation.

 Manufacturers  Division:  any person, firm, or corporation engaged in the manufacturing of equipment, materials, or supplies used in the water well industry.

Suppliers Division:  any person, firm, or corporation engaged in the supplying of equipment, materials, or supplies used in the water well industry.

 Technical Division:  any person, firm, or corporation engaged in the supervision, regulation, evaluation, development, or investigation of underground or ground water supply installations or related technology or any individual in an accredited university, college, or preparatory school, public or private, teaching subject matter embracing the water well industry.

Associate Division:   any person interested in the work of the Association who is not eligible for membership under other divisions, such as students, may become an Associate Member.

Honorary Division:  Persons of acknowledged eminence from outside of the ground-water industry who have contributed some special service to the industry of to the Association, may be elected to Honorary Membership upon the recommendation of the Board of Directors.  Honorary Members are exempt from membership fees and dues, and shall be entitled to all privileges and benefits as established by the Board of Directors.

Our Mission Statement:

to assist, promote, encourage, and support the interests and welfare of the water-well industry in all of its phases generally, and in particular within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

to foster, aid, and promote scientific education, standards, research, and techniques in order to improve methods of well construction and development

bullet

to promote harmony and cooperation between well contractors and governmental an scientific agencies relative to the proper development and protection of underground water supplies

bullet

to encourage cooperation of all interested groups relative to the improvement of drilling and pumping equipment

bullet

to encourage, serve, assist, and promote close cooperation with the National Ground Water Association, Inc.

bullet

to collect, analyze, and disseminate to the public, facts about the role of the water-well industry in the economy of Pennsylvania and of the nation 

bullet

to advance generally, the mutual interests of all those engage in the water well industry, in their own and the public interest.
